Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for New Jersey Public Sector to drive sales, deliver exceptional service, and expand Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions' presence through customer engagements, trade shows, and channel partner collaboration. This fully remote role requires NJ residency and no relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of full-time technical and/or carrier sales experience in the public sector (state, local government, and education)
• Experience with public sector procurement vehicles including NASPO, GSA, and other purchasing contracts
• Strong knowledge of WWAN and telecommunications; experience in private cellular networks and neutral host solutions preferred
• Recent, documented experience managing SLED accounts including state agencies, cities, counties, K–12 schools, and higher education institutions

Responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly sales quotas through accurate forecasting, pipeline development, and closing business
• Develop a dynamic territory strategy driving customer expansion across WWAN, Private Cellular, and Neutral Host solutions
• Coordinate internal teams — support, service, and management — to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings in alignment with company standards
• Utilize the CRM system for all account management activities, from lead generation through the order cycle
• Travel to and participate in trade shows, events, and channel and carrier networking sessions
