Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for New Jersey Public Sector. This fully remote role requires residing in New Jersey and includes quarterly quotas, and collaboration with Inside Sales and Sales Engineering to drive state and local government and education accounts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public sector sales, a relevant bachelor's degree, and experience with NASPO/GSA contracts, WWAN, and private cellular networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of full-time technical and/or carrier sales experience in the public sector (state, local government, and education).
• Experience with public sector procurement vehicles including NASPO, GSA, and other purchasing contracts.
• Strong knowledge of WWAN and telecommunications; experience in private cellular networks and neutral host solutions preferred.
• Current residency within New Jersey required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned quarterly sales quotas through accurate forecasting, pipeline development, and closing business.
• Develop and deliver a territory strategy driving customer expansion across WWAN, Private Cellular, and Neutral Host solutions.
• Leverage sales tools to build an effective prospecting plan while maintaining visibility with existing customers.
• Coordinate internal teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Travel to and participate in trade shows, events, and channel and carrier networking sessions.
