Job summary

Plastic Executive Recruiters is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow the Western territory, covering AZ, CO, UT, NV, NM, and WY. This remote-friendly role requires travel within the Western U.S.

to develop new customers and expand current accounts for can liners, poly bags, and related packaging products. Ideal candidates bring proven sales success in flexible packaging, strong relationships in Jan/San and related markets, and the ability to work with distributors, customers, and

Qualifications

• Experience selling can liners, poly bags, or related flexible packaging products.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts and grow existing business.
• Experience selling through distribution is valuable but not required.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Western U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established Western sales territory.
• Develop new customers while expanding business within existing accounts.
• Sell can liners, industrial bags, healthcare bags, drum liners, contractor bags, food storage bags, and related polyethylene products.
• Develop relationships across Jan/San, foodservice, healthcare, grocery, industrial, institutional, and commercial markets.
• Work directly with customers to understand applications, specifications, performance requirements, and product needs.
• Identify new applications and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Work with distributors and their sales teams when appropriate, including joint sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, and product training.
• Prepare pricing, quotations, proposals, and account plans.
• Partner with manufacturing and customer service to support customers throughout the sales process.
• Travel throughout the territory to develop and support business.
