Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our regional sales team as a First Line Manager covering the Pacific Northwest.

You will oversee part of the regional salesforce, help develop and execute sales plans and projections, and mentor the team toward strong performance. You’ll work closely with the Palo Alto PNW RVP to grow Idira’s business, drive marketing initiatives, and build executive relationships across key accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience in the region with team management.
• Proven ability to close enterprise software agreements with the Fortune 1000.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel 30-40%.
• Experience with top Global Systems Integrators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop team to align with company objectives.
• Manage and motivate the direct team by linking performance to business goals.
• Lead in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
• Build executive relationships to grow programs and drive expansions.
• Collaborate with local Value-Added Resellers for mutual events.
• Participate in quarterly reviews with partners and tech alliances.
• Coordinate with Solution Engineers and Services leads to advance opportunities.
• Liaise between Research & Development and Project Management as needed.
• Influence top opportunities and focus sales on large key accounts.
