Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Northeast. The role is remote-based with travel to cover a Northeast territory and a 50%+ overnight travel expectation.

You will develop new business with OEMs, distribution partners, and end-user fleets, leveraging hydraulics and pneumatics expertise to drive profitable sales. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of sales experience in hydraulics/pneumatics, with direct OEM and distributor experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of sales experience with hydraulics/pneumatics; selling direct to OEMs, distribution partners and end users/fleets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business and relationships with OEMs, distribution partners and end users/fleets across mobile equipment and related market segments.
• Maintain network of contacts in specified industries to find project leads and understand market trends.
• Cold calls within your market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Product Development and Operations to ensure account growth.
• Utilize Salesforce reports to keep management informed of sales progress.
• Attend industry trade shows to establish industry contacts and develop leads.
