Verto People Ltd is seeking a Regional Sales Manager/Sales Engineer to drive growth and support motion control and automation customers in California, SF Bay. The role covers pre- and post-sales activities with 50% travel and collaboration with direct customers and distribution partners.

The position emphasizes strong technical and application support, leadership of regional sales plans, and management of distributor and end-user relationships to achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other engineering degree.
• 10+ years of field sales experience in industrial automation or motion control.
• Understanding of motion control, servo drive markets or automation industry.
• Proven success in consultative/solution selling.
• Experience supporting multiple sales channels (distributors, integrators, OEMs, reps).
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to guide customers from concept to purchase.
• Willingness to travel ~50% across California.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales plans to drive growth.
• Support and manage distributor, integrator, OEM, and end-user relationships.
• Execute consultative, solution-based selling at all customer levels.
• Provide strong technical and application support for motion and machine control systems.
• Generate and manage sales leads, proposals, pricing, and negotiations.
• Deliver product presentations and on-site demonstrations.
• Manage territory performance to meet strategic and financial goals.
