Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales across the Northeast US, including CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME and parts of Canada. You will manage OEMs and VARs, build a strong territory plan, and travel about half the time to visit customers and close deals.

The role requires an engineering degree and 4+ years in motion control sales, with a hunter mentality and strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in Salesforce and Office tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have engineering degree (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Must have 4+ years of motion control sales experience.
• Must have knowledge in mechatronics/electricity/software/quality/environmental condition.
• Must understand servo and automation systems.
• Hunter mentality and self-starter.
• Experience using CRM consistently (Salesforce a plus).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Grow sales in the assigned region by expanding with existing customers and identifying new markets and opportunities.
• Manage existing projects and customers including OEMs and value-added resellers.
• Develop and deploy a territory business plan describing growth opportunities.
• Maintain contact with existing and potential customers visiting regularly.
• Utilize CRM (Salesforce) for opportunity tracking and reporting.
