Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Regional Sales Director of MCS in the Heart Failure division to lead a clinical and market development team. You will drive therapy adoption, market penetration, and revenue growth while developing targeted training and talent within a remote United States team.

This role requires leadership capabilities, strategic planning, and a proven ability to coach field personnel, manage P&L, and collaborate across Abbott to meet ambitious regional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5 years prior experience, knowledge of medical devices preferred.
• 3-5 years of successful sales leadership experience, preferably within medical device industry.
• MBA and/or multi-product/therapy sales management experience preferred.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional strategic plans to meet revenue, profitability, and market penetration goals.
• Drive regional performance by ensuring alignment and executing on critical sales and service strategies and tactics.
• Develop programs that generate additional sales revenue in the region by increasing referrals to implanting physicians.
• Collaborate with field team to identify strategies to increase referrals and overcome barriers to growth.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to field sales and support staff through field visits and measurement of results.
• Oversee training strategies and market development plans for the region to ensure sales teams have the skills and tools to drive adoption and revenue targets.
