Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the MCS team within the Heart Failure division. This remote role will lead a clinical and market development organization to achieve therapy adoption, market penetration, and revenue targets in the defined region.

You will hire, coach, and develop MCS therapy experts, align with finance on P&L, and build relationships with customers, KOLs, and industry leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years in medical device sales leadership.
• Directive leadership and budget monitoring experience.
• 3-5 years of successful medical device sales leadership.
• Organized, multitasker, deadline driven.
• Strong MS Office and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional plans to meet revenue and market goals.
• Drive performance with sales and service strategies.
• Lead programs to increase referrals to implanting physicians.
• Collaborate with field team to boost referrals and growth.
• Coach field staff through visits and performance metrics.
• Oversee regional training and market development plans.
• Lead talent acquisition and development in the region.
