Job summary

Mineralys Therapeutics is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead the launch and growth of its first commercial product within an assigned region. You will build and guide a high-performing team of territory managers, develop regional plans, and ensure alignment with corporate priorities while maintaining compliance and urgency in a fast-paced environment.

This remote leadership role requires an 60% travel footprint, extensive collaboration with Market Access, Marketing, and Medical Affairs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience in a district/regional role.
• Proven success leading specialty sales teams and exceeding goals.
• Prior launch experience; first-launch/startup biotech experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related markets preferred.
• Strong business planning, analytical, and coaching skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within region.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional launch planning and execution to ensure market entry and uptake.
• Translate national brand strategy into actionable regional plans and field priorities.
• Lead team to achieve sales goals, market share targets, and KPIs at launch and beyond.
• Monitor market dynamics and competitive intelligence to adjust strategy in real time.
• Drive accountability for performance through data-driven decisions and execution.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain top-tier territory managers (8–12).
• Establish disease state and product knowledge; coach for career development.
• Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and collaboration.
• Build succession plans and talent pipelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support launch readiness and messaging.
