Job summary

Mineralys Therapeutics, a fully remote clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Regional Sales Director to drive launch and growth of its first commercial product in an assigned region. You will translate national strategy into regional execution, lead a team of 8–12 territory managers, and build deep provider relationships while ensuring alignment with compliance and company values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience in a district/regional manager role.
• Proven success leading specialty sales teams and exceeding performance goals.
• Prior launch experience required; first-launch/startup biotech experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related specialty markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional launch planning and execution to ensure market entry and uptake.
• Translate national strategy into regional business plans and field execution priorities.
• Lead team to achieve or exceed sales goals and market share targets at launch and beyond.
• Monitor market dynamics and adjust strategy in real time.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain territory managers; coach to skill and career growth.
• Develop relationships with key healthcare providers and strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support launch readiness and execution.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
