Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the assigned region.

The role is remote with regular travel to project sites in the Southwest region, conducting training, audits, and First Article Inspections. You will establish and maintain quality systems, monitor project quality, perform root cause analyses, and report findings to management and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, etc. Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Proficient in quality management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC processes for PV EPC projects in the region.
• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs and contract requirements.
• Monitor project quality through inspections, audits, and adherence to AHJ and installation instructions.
• Train and support project teams on QA/QC practices and reference guides.
• Work with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to address quality issues.
• Document inspections and prepare regular management and client reports.
• Utilize SOLV’s Sunscreen software for documentation and reporting of quality matters.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, procedures, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods when needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
