Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC across PV EPC projects in the assigned region. This remote role requires regular travel to project sites for training, audits, and client meetings, with emphasis on maintaining high-quality standards per SOPs and regulatory requirements.

You will lead QA programs, conduct inspections, train field teams, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10/30, Journeyman.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s Quality Management System, SOLV SOPs and contract requirements for each project.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality: Conduct inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, AHJ requirements, manufacturers instructions, code compliance.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems and processes used in PV projects within your region.
• Train and support: Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC practices, SOLV Energy’s SOPs, SWIs, MOPs and reference guides.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to address quality-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document and report findings: Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions, and prepare reports for management and clients.
• Become proficient in SOLV’s Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters on projects.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation compliance, reporting methods, installation procedures and vendor performance.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods and document actions.
• Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations and ensure adherence across projects.
