Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to lead QA/QC for PV EPC projects in the Southwest region.

This remote role requires regular travel to project sites, clients, suppliers and regulatory agencies to train field teams, conduct audits and ensure adherence to SOLV Energy quality standards. You will develop quality plans, manage inspections, train teams, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with AHJ requirements and installation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in solar or renewable energy.
• Quality certifications such as ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are desirable.
• Experience with electrical construction and electrical safety.
• Experience reading construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication.
• Proficient in quality management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s Quality Management System (QMS), SOPs and contract requirements for each project.
• Establish, maintain and continually improve quality systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and code compliance.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems and processes used in PV projects within your region.
• Train and support project teams on QA/QC practices and SOLV Energy SOPs, SWIs, MOPs and reference guides.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers and clients to address quality-related issues.
• Document and report findings with detailed records of inspections, audits and corrective actions.
• Conduct frequent formal audits on documentation, reporting methods, installation processes/procedures and vendor performance.
• Perform root cause analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods and implement CAPAs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive corrective actions.
