Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of solar and energy infrastructure services, seeks a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the assigned region. This remote role requires travel to project sites in the Southwest, client meetings, and ongoing training of field teams.

Responsibilities include developing quality plans, auditing materials and processes, and maintaining compliance with SOLV SOPs and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs and contract requirements.
• Establish and maintain quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and AHJ requirements.
• Monitor project quality via inspections and audits on ongoing and completed PV projects.
• Oversee testing, inspection and evaluation of materials, components, systems and processes.
• Train and support project teams on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs, SWIs, MOPs and reference guides.
• Work with project managers, engineers, suppliers and clients to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document and report findings and corrective actions; maintain records for management and clients.
• Proficient use of SOLV’s Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent audits of documentation, reporting methods, installation processes/procedures, material handling and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods and document thorough RCA results.
• Drive continuous improvement through corrective actions to enhance project quality and efficiency.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Stay current with changes in codes, standards and client requirements.
