Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Regional Project Controls Manager to lead cost and schedule for PMO projects valued between $10 million and $250 million. You will work with project managers, procurement, and regional teams as a billable resource for cost control while traveling to sites to audit costs and drive improvements.

Responsibilities include creating L3/L4 schedules in Primavera, budgeting, tracking actuals, and developing monthly cost and cashflow reviews.

Qualifications

• Candidates with a 4-year college degree are desirable, however those with at least 2 years of direct experience may be considered with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in outage planning and cost tracking; power plant operations knowledge preferred but will consider other large-scale maintenance backgrounds.
• Demonstrated project controls experience with cost-loaded schedules and tracking costs.
• Prior onsite tracking of large complex outages for cost and schedule.
• Experience reporting outage performance to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Create and update large PMO project schedules (L3/L4).
• Budget load, track actuals and estimate at complete cost on large PMO outages.
• Review contractual payment terms with clients and develop schedule of payments; issue invoices per contract.
• Travel to sites to audit costs with project teams and vendors.
• Mentor and cross-train team resources on scheduling and cost tracking.
• Manage indirect and external resources (4–6).
• Collaborate with PMs, procurement, and regional teams on vendor cost and cashflow tracking.
