Job summary

Reworld Waste, a leader in sustainable waste solutions, seeks a Regional Project Controls Manager to drive cost control for PMO projects valued from $10M to $250M. You will build and maintain large schedule forecasts, manage budgets, and ensure contractual invoicing accuracy across multiple sites with travel up to 50%.

You will collaborate with project managers, procurement, and regional resources to load costs, track variances, and forecast at completion.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree desirable; those with at least 2 years direct experience may be considered with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in outage planning, outage cost tracking and a good understanding of power plant operations.
• Demonstratable Project Controls experience with prior experience building cost loaded schedules and tracking prior outage cost.
• Experience in reporting outage performance to senior management.
• Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project, with strong MS Office skills and budgeting/forecasting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and update large PMO project detailed schedules (L3, L4).
• Budget load, track actuals and estimate at completion for large PMO outages.
• Ensure invoices to clients are issued per contractual terms and project progress.
• Travel to sites to audit costs and meet with project teams and vendors.
• Support site planners and remote planners/cost resources as SMEs.
• Indirect management and scoping of third-party resources (4–6 resources).
• Update vendor installments based on project progress; track cashflows.
• Develop Primavera standard scopes of work for outages and PMO projects.
• Support regional planning refreshes 2 times a year.
• Ensure project dashboard KPIs are complete and accurate.
