Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Regional Project Controls Manager to support PMO projects valued between $10 million and $250 million. You will manage cost tracking, detailed scheduling, and invoicing per contract terms while traveling to sites as needed.

You will mentor planners, align with procurement and regional teams, and develop standard Primavera scopes for outages and PMO initiatives to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree desirable; candidates with at least 2 years of direct experience may be considered with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in outage planning, outage cost tracking and a good understanding of power plant operations is strongly preferred, but other industries with large-scale maintenance cycles may be considered.
• Demonstrated project controls experience with cost-loaded schedules and tracking outage costs.
• Onsite tracking of large complex outages for cost and schedule; reporting outage performance to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Create and update large PMO project detailed schedules at L3 and L4.
• Load budgets, track actuals and estimate at completion for large PMO outages.
• Review contractual payment terms and develop payment schedules; ensure invoices align with contracts and project progress.
• Travel to sites to audit costs, meet with project teams and vendors.
• Support site planners, remote planners and cost resources as SMEs.
• Mentor and cross-train team members on scheduling and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, regional resources and management to track vendor costs and cashflows.
• Develop Primavera standard scopes of work for outages and PMO projects.
• Support regional planning refreshes twice a year and regional monthly reviews.
