Job summary

HDT is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth in the Industrial/Commercial HVAC markets. This role supports top-tier channel representation and targets steel, paper, oil & gas, mining, and related sectors.

The position is remote and geographically flexible with locations including NE Ohio, Texas, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. Travel 25-50% and close collaboration with engineering and marketing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field.
• Three to five years’ experience in industrial product and systems sales.
• Strong knowledge of steel, paper, and heavy industries.
• Knowledge of HVAC products desired.
• Experience in managing representatives and distribution channels, a plus.
• Experience in the use of CRM system, Salesforce.
• Ability to define opportunities for marketing communications support to drive growth.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and problem solve.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company.
• Proficient in standard business software packages (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Grow Industrial/Commercial HVAC sales through existing channels and new opportunities.
• Develop and penetrate key customer accounts in multiple industries.
• Attend tradeshows to drive growth in HVAC sectors.
• Collaborate with marketing to define growth opportunities.
• Engage with engineering through the gate process on programs.
• Contribute to product line planning and S&OP activities.
• Travel 25-50% as required.
