Job summary

RBtec Perimeter Security Systems seeks an outside field sales professional to drive new business across the Southeast and East Coast, focusing on NC, GA, VA. This hunter role works from a home office with 2-3+ days in the field weekly.

You will meet security integrators, consultants, distributors, and end users, educate them on RBtec PIDS technology, qualify opportunities, and build a robust pipeline toward closed deals. Travel to support key accounts and periodic in-person meetings are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct sales in physical security (PIDS, video surveillance, access control, or security integration).
• Proven hunter who self-generates new business and builds their own pipeline.
• Established network among security integrators, consultants, distributors, or end users.
• Willingness and ability to work in the field 2 to 3+ days per week and travel throughout the territory.
• Residence near a major airport with frequent nonstop United service to Newark (EWR).

Responsibilities

• Independently generate meetings, site visits, presentations, and product demos across the territory.
• Develop relationships with security integrators, consultants and specifiers, distributors, and end users.
• Educate the market on RBtec's PIDS solutions and position them for new projects and specifications.
• Qualify opportunities, build pipeline, and drive deals from first meeting through close.
• Work to agreed KPIs covering field activity, meetings, demos, new partners, and pipeline development.
• Keep activity, contacts, and opportunities current in the CRM and take part in weekly pipeline reviews.
• Share market and competitive feedback with the RBtec team.
