Job summary

CAI is hiring a Regional Grant Coordinator to support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) and MRIHA regional grants. The role is full-time, long-term, and hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will manage regional contracts, ensure compliance, and coordinate with state and federal reporting requirements.

This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Ideal candidates reside within the assigned RHTP region, and travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in grant management, contract oversight, program administration, or related work.
• 3 years of experience with healthcare organizations, rural communities, or public health systems.
• 2 years of experience with compliance, budgeting, and reporting requirements for state or federal grants.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regional contract manager for organizations receiving RHTP funding.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements, including allowable expenditures, budget adherence, and documentation standards.
• Support IDOH in ensuring regional coalitions meet milestones, deliverables, and timelines in the workplan.
• Identify risks, performance issues, or compliance concerns and escalate as appropriate.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure use of state-approved templates and reporting systems.
