Job summary

CAI in the United States is seeking a Regional Grant Coordinator to support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) and MRIHA Regional Grants in a hybrid, long-term contract role based in Indianapolis, IN. The selected candidate will help manage multi-year grants and ensure compliance with program requirements.

You will manage regional contracts, monitor compliance, coordinate with statewide partners, track milestones, and help ensure timely CMS reporting, while engaging hospitals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration, or related field.
• 5 years of grant management, contract oversight, program administration, or related work.
• 3 years working with healthcare organizations, rural communities, or public health systems.
• 2 years experience with compliance, budgeting, and reporting for state/federal grants.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Remote field-based contractor able to travel within region.
• Experience with CMS-funded programs or federal cooperative agreements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regional contract manager for RHTP funding recipients.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements and documentation standards.
• Support IDOH in meeting milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and templates for reporting.
• Coordinate with Technical Assistance Providers to align support.
• Facilitate regional meetings, consortium sessions, and learning.
• Coordinate CMS data collection, reporting, and outcome measurement.
