Job summary

CAI is seeking a Regional Grant Coordinator for a full-time, long-term contract role that is hybrid in Indiana. You will support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) and MRIHA regional grants, ensuring compliance and timely reporting across state and federal requirements.

The position requires strong grant management, contract oversight, and collaboration with statewide partners. Remote-friendly with travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in grant management, contract oversight, program administration, or related work.
• 3 years working with healthcare organizations, rural communities, or public health systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regional contract manager for organizations receiving RHTP funding and monitor compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate data collection, performance tracking, and CMS reporting to IDOH.
• Support regional coalitions and ensure milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met.
• Engage with regional partners to interpret state guidance and funding requirements.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and use state-approved templates and reporting tools.
• Travel within the assigned region as needed.
