Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. is seeking a Regional Operations Manager, Claims to oversee and support a large Claims region.

The role involves planning, budgeting, staffing, quality control, regulatory compliance, financial management, and resource allocation to meet regional and corporate objectives. It also includes overseeing large claims and implementing guidelines to ensure high technical and service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal/written communications, organization, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to absorb and implement change, normally acquired through a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Advanced insurance-related designations and supervisory/management experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Supports the Regional Claims Manager with planning, budgeting, staffing, quality control, regulatory compliance, and financial management
• Manages existing and new claims-related programs for the region ensuring staff comply with policies and participate in quality control initiatives and programs
• Gathers organizes and analyzes claims data to identify issues, trends and opportunities; presents findings and recommendations to senior management
• Develops and maintains relationships with state regulators by attending regulatory meetings and insurance department visits
• Participates in committees and ensures regional management is kept up-to-date on activities
• Handles special projects which may include in-depth research/analysis
