Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance seeks a Senior Complex Casualty Claims Resolution Specialist for the Northwest Region. This role leads severe auto and homeowner claims, partnering with counsel, and directing strategy within a hybrid/remote setup.

You will manage investigations, evaluations, and settlements for high-exposure cases, keeping reserves and guiding authorities, while collaborating with trial teams and SIU as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is typically required.
• At least 7 years of directly related casualty claims experience.
• Licensing as required by state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage investigation, evaluation, and resolution of complex auto and homeowner's casualty claims.
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages; recommend settlements and escalate for authority review.
• Identify potential suspicious claims and refer to SIU; pursue subrogation opportunities.
• Collaborate with trial counsel; attend mediations, arbitrations, trials, hearings, and conferences.
• Prepare detailed litigation and trial reports for local management and Home Office.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, attorneys, and claimants to gather information.
