Associated Metal Forming Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our customer base across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. This remotely-based role reports to the VP of Sales and focuses on hunting new business while expanding existing relationships.

The role requires 3–5 years in BD/sales in manufacturing, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel 50–70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of business development, sales, or account management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven success generating and winning new business.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Ability to travel approximately 50–70% across the assigned region.

Responsabilités

• Identify, prospect, and secure new customer opportunities within MI, IN, OH, and KY.
• Develop territory growth plans targeting key industries and strategic accounts.
• Build relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers, distributors, and decision-makers.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead to quote, negotiation, award, and launch.
• Visit customers, present, and discuss technical solutions to uncover opportunities.
• Represent AMFT at industry events and customer meetings.
• Expand existing customer relationships and cross-sell AMFT capabilities.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce opportunities, forecasts, and activities.
