Associated Metal Forming Technologies (AMFT) is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our customer base across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. The role emphasizes hunting for new business while nurturing existing relationships, representing our full portfolio of precision springs, stampings, and engineered components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of business development, sales, or account management in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proven ability to win new business and manage complex sales cycles.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new customer opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Develop territory growth plans and target industries.
• Build relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
• Manage full sales process from lead through quote to launch.
• Provide regular pipeline updates and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver solutions.
