Associated Metal Forming Technologies (AMFT) is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. The role focuses on hunting new business while expanding current relationships, representing AMFT’s capabilities across precision springs, stampings, metal forming, assemblies, tooling, and engineered components.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of business development, sales, or account management experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven success generating and winning new business.
• Experience managing complex customer relationships and sales cycles.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM.
• Ability to travel approximately 50-70% throughout the assigned region.

Aufgaben

• Identify, prospect, and secure new customer opportunities within Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
• Build and execute a territory growth plan focused on target industries and strategic accounts.
• Develop relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
• Manage the complete sales process from lead generation through quote, negotiation, award, and launch.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions to uncover opportunities.
• Represent AMFT at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
• Expand existing customer relationships by introducing additional AMFT capabilities and solutions.
• Increase share of wallet through cross-selling and multi-site opportunities.
• Establish long-term partnerships with key accounts.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to provide customer-focused solutions.
• Support smooth transitions from business development through production launch.
• Maintain Salesforce opportunities, forecasts, and activity; provide regular updates.
