Job summary

Associated Metal Forming Technologies (AMFT) seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our customer base across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. You will hunt for new opportunities while expanding relationships with existing accounts, collaborating with engineering, operations, and service teams to deliver engineered solutions.

This full-time role offers a base salary with incentive compensation, requires 50–70% travel, and a remote-work option within the four-state

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years in business development, sales, or account management in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven success generating and winning new business.
• Experience managing complex customer relationships and sales cycles.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new opportunities in MI, IN, OH, and KY.
• Build and execute a territory growth plan focused on target industries and strategic accounts.
• Develop relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
• Manage full sales process from lead generation through quote, negotiation, award, and launch.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions to uncover opportunities.
• Represent AMFT at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
