Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage a US territory with national and global responsibilities. The role focuses on creating new sales opportunities through collaboration with security spec writers, OEM partners, integrators, and end-users.

The BDM will deliver regular product presentations and pursue strategic opportunities to grow LifeSafety Power solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years outside sales/territory management experience, strong Fed/Gov

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years outside sales experience/territory management or three (3) years outside sales with related bachelor’s degree.
Strong ties/relationships within the Fed/Gov space; Access OEM partners a plus.
Background in access control or security industries.

Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory and nationally/globally.
Deliver regular product presentations to end-users, integrators, and spec writers.
Identify regional, national, and global opportunities and create strategies for end users.
Educate A&E and security consultants about LifeSafety Power solutions to drive specifications.
Use relational and technical sales approaches to sell LifeSafety Power solutions.
Participate in territory industry association events and trade shows.
