Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in the United States is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. You will drive growth in the assigned territory by partnering with security spec writers, OEM partners, integrators, end users, and independent representatives to create new sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of outside sales or territory management experience, strong relationships in Fed/Gov space, and a background in access control or security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years outside sales experience / territory management.
• Experience with Fed/Gov customers or relationships.
• Strong background in access control or security industries.
• Must reside within assigned territory.
• Comfortable presenting in person or via webinar.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to manage the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• Deliver regular product presentations to end users and partners.
• Identify regional and national opportunities and set strategic goals.
• Educate A&E and security consultants on LifeSafety Power solutions.
• Field engagement with OEM partners, integrators, and end users.
