Job summary

SICK is seeking a Regional Account Manager out of Boston, MA for a remote-based sales role covering New England (RI, VT, NH, ME). You will manage a named set of accounts, grow market share, and work with a cross-functional team to deliver solutions across products, services, and systems.

The role requires prior complex sales experience in industrial automation, a technical bachelor’s degree, and strong CRM/MS Office skills. Travel up to four days a week in the regional territory may be required.

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted advisor and main contact to customers; introduce and sell SICK solutions and services to existing and new accounts.
• Collaborate strategically with the Team Selling Unit in the local region to meet individual and team goals.
• Identify business opportunities within defined customer lists and engage regional specialists for non-standard solutions.
• Maintain and use the CRM system to ensure teamwork and transparent customer data.
• Develop direct customer relationships by understanding customers' production needs and technical language.
• Apply consultative sales techniques and SSP-driven approaches to improve production quality and efficiency.
