Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a remote Supervisor of Referrals to lead the referrals/authorizations workflow. You will report to a Manager of Referrals and supervise a team of non-clinical associates, coordinating workload and ensuring performance standards.

Travel to Humana offices may be required for training or meetings. The role supports a 40-hour work week with a starting pay range and eligibility for a bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Must hold U.S. Citizenship due to DoD contract.
• Interim clearance approval (NBIS) required.
• Not eligible for Puerto Rico residents under current contract.
• 3+ years supervisory/management or team lead experience.
• 5+ years in referral/authorization management.
• Previous or current TRICARE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise processing of referrals/authorizations.
• Serve as a resource for the team and coordinate activities.
• Prioritize caseloads to optimize resources and implement contingency plans.
• Provide research and resolution of referrals/authorization issues.
• Facilitate training for non-clinical associates and develop staff for growth.
