Job summary

Humana Inc. invites you to join as a remote Supervisor of Referrals, reporting to a Manager of Referrals. You will oversee referrals/authorizations processing and coordinate activities to ensure timely completion while maintaining security and compliance.

This role requires US citizenship, interim NBIS clearance approval, TRICARE experience, and 3–5 years of supervisory and referral management experience. Travel to Humana offices may be required for training.

Qualifications

• 3 years supervisory/management or Team Lead experience.
• 5 years of referral and authorization management experience.
• Previous or current TRICARE experience.
• U.S. Citizenship due to Department of Defense contract.
• Interim approval for NBIS (National Background Investigation Services) security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• You will supervise processing of referrals/authorizations.
• You will serve as a resource for team, monitoring and coordinating team's referral and authorization activities.
• You will prioritize caseload between associates to optimize all available resources and implement contingency operations to meet performance standards.
• You will provide research and resolution of issues relating to referrals and authorizations activities.
• You will facilitate training requirements for non-clinical associates and develop associates for future growth opportunities by coaching them and completing performance management plans.
