Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a remote Supervisor of Referrals reporting to a Manager of Referrals.

You will supervise processing of referrals/authorizations, serve as a resource for the team, and balance caseload to maximize resources, implementing contingency operations to meet performance standards. You will provide research and resolution of issues related to referrals and authorizations, and facilitate training for non-clinical associates while coaching them toward growth and completing performance

Qualifications

• 3 years supervisory/management or Team Lead experience
• 5 years of referral and authorization management experience
• Previous or current TRICARE experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise processing of referrals/authorizations.
• Serve as a resource for the team, monitoring and coordinating referral activities.
• Prioritize caseload between associates to optimize resources.
• Provide research and resolution of issues relating to referrals and authorizations.
• Facilitate training requirements for non-clinical associates and coach for growth.
