Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a remote Supervisor of Referrals to oversee processing of referrals and authorizations and to serve as a resource for the team. You will prioritize caseload and coordinate activities to meet performance standards.

This role requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain NBIS clearance, TRICARE experience, and at least 3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience plus 5 years in referral-and-authorization management. Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required due to DoD contract.
• Interim approval for NBIS government security clearance required.
• Not eligible to hire candidates living in Puerto Rico due to contract.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory/management or team-lead experience.
• Minimum 5 years of referral and authorization management experience.
• Previous or current TRICARE experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise processing of referrals and authorizations.
• Serve as a resource for the team, monitoring and coordinating activities.
• Prioritize caseload between associates to optimize resources and meet performance standards.
• Provide research and resolution of issues related to referrals and authorizations.
• Facilitate training requirements for non-clinical associates and coach for growth.
