This role is crucial for sourcing and attracting highly skilled professionals for mining operations and related industries. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the mining sector's talent requirements, extensive sourcing capabilities, and a passion for connecting specialized talent with challenging career opportunities. As a fully remote position, you will leverage digital tools and communication platforms to effectively engage with candidates and clients across various locations, focusing on roles relevant to the Free State region and beyond. Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit specialized talent for roles within the mining and resources sector, including engineers, geologists, metallurgists, and operational staff.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using online platforms, professional networks, and industry databases.
• Conduct detailed candidate screenings and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
• Collaborate closely with client hiring managers to understand their specific technical requirements and company culture.
• Manage candidate communication and provide regular updates throughout the recruitment process.
• Negotiate job offers and facilitate the pre-employment checks and onboarding process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and new technologies within the mining sector.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Contribute to developing employer branding initiatives for clients in the mining and resources industry.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mining Engineering, Geology, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, with a significant focus on the mining and resources sector.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing technical and operational roles within mining.
• Excellent understanding of the mining lifecycle and its associated talent needs.
• Proficiency with various recruitment tools and technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS.
