Job summary

Old Scratch Pizza is seeking a part-time Recruiting Coordinator in the Dayton area. The role is mostly remote, 20–25 hours per week with typical hours 1:00 pm–6:00 pm, and offers competitive weekly pay based on experience.

The Recruiting Coordinator will screen applicants, conduct first-round interviews, and move candidates through the hiring process, coordinating with restaurant leadership for second-round interviews.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition.
• Excellent phone and interpersonal communication.
• Comfort with high volume candidate calls.
• Experience conducting candidate screenings or first-round interviews.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a large pipeline and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently within established guidelines.
• Ability to move quickly and shift priorities based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Review applications and resumes for restaurant positions.
• Make scheduled high-volume outbound calls to applicants.
• Conduct first-round phone interviews.
• Evaluate qualifications, availability, experience, and interest.
• Schedule qualified candidates for second-round interviews.
• Maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the process.
• Post and manage job ads across recruiting platforms.
• Monitor applicant flow and maintain an active candidate pipeline.
• Communicate staffing needs with restaurant managers.
• Assist onboarding and HR-related projects as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of applicant, employee, and company information.
