Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Clinical Consulting Manager to join our Real-World Data (RWD) practice. This remote role bridges clinical expertise with data strategy, supporting business development, and driving the technical construction of codebooks and analytic datasets for health outcomes research.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will collaborate with biostatisticians, data engineers, and epidemiologists across HEOR, Instant Health Data, and Commercial analytics to deliver impactful

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD with clinical training.
• 3–5 years of professional consulting experience after clinical training.
• Strong written and verbal communication translating clinical concepts for non-clinical audiences.
• Experience with structured project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Asana).
• Comfort with healthcare data concepts (claims, EHR, coding systems).
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to develop data pipelines and apply AI/ML methods.

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical nuance into consulting deliverables for proposals, scoping calls, and client presentations.
• Lead creation, validation, and maintenance of codebooks and data dictionaries across data sources.
• Coordinate with biostatisticians, data engineers, and epidemiologists to ensure data quality and documentation standards.
• Co-author white papers, blog posts, and client-facing narratives on RWD/RWE trends, and represent the practice at industry events.
