Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Clinical Consulting Manager to lead Real-World Data (RWD) consulting, bridging clinical expertise with data strategy and supporting business development. You will drive codebook and data dictionary development across claims, EHR, and registries, translate clinical concepts into standardized coding, and collaborate with biostatisticians, data engineers, and epidemiologists.

The role reports to the Chief Medical Officer and VP of RWD Consulting, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD degree required.
• 3–5 years of professional consulting experience after clinical training.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate clinical concepts for non-clinical audiences.
• Experience using structured project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Asana).
• Familiarity with healthcare data concepts (claims, EHR, coding systems).
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams on data pipelines and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development, scoping calls, and client presentations by translating clinical nuance into deliverables.
• Lead codebook and data dictionary development across claims, EHR, and registries.
• Co-author white papers, blog posts, and client-facing narratives on RWD/RWE trends.
• Represent the practice at industry conferences and stay updated on regulatory guidance.
