Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Clinical Consulting Manager to join our Real-World Data (RWD) consulting practice. This remote role partners clinical expertise with data strategy to support business development and responsible RWE generation.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, with matrix support from the VP, Head of Real-World Data Consulting, you will build codebooks, lead data dictionaries, and collaborate across biostatistics, data science, and engineering to deliver impactful analyses.

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD degree completed with clinical training.
• 3–5 years of professional consulting experience post-training.
• Ability to translate clinical concepts for non-clinical audiences.
• Experience using structured PM tools such as JIRA, Confluence or Asana.
• Comfort with healthcare data concepts including claims and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development and client presentations by translating clinical nuance into deliverables.
• Lead codebook and data dictionary development across claims, EHR, and other data sources.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians, data engineers, and epidemiologists to QC variables and coding.
• Co-author thought leadership and represent the practice at industry events.
