Norstella seeks a Clinical Consulting Manager to lead Real-World Data & Evidence initiatives from a remote US location. The role blends clinical insight with data strategy, supporting business development, building codebooks, and shaping RWE thought leadership.

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD degree required
• 3–5 years of professional consulting experience after clinical training
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with structured project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Asana)
• Comfort with structured healthcare data concepts (claims, EHR, coding systems)
• Ability to collaborate with data science and engineering teams on SQL, R, and Python
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development and client presentations translating clinical nuance into deliveringables
• Partner with senior consultants and practice leads to identify new business opportunities
• Contribute clinical perspective to RFP responses, capability decks, and client-facing scientific narratives
• Lead and contribute to codebook and data dictionary development across data sources
• Translate clinical concepts into standardized coding logic (ICD-10, CPT, NDC, LOINC)
• Manage codebook and data dictionary workstreams with JIRA and ensure traceability
• Collaborate with biostatisticians, data engineers, and epidemiologists on QC of variable definitions
