Job summary

Norstella seeks a Clinical Consulting Manager to bridge clinical expertise with data strategy in real-world data projects. You will support business development, drive the construction of codebooks, and contribute to thought leadership in RWE generation.

The role reports to the Chief Medical Officer and supports health economics, Instant Health Data platform, and commercial analytics. Ideal for physicians or pharmacists with early consulting experience.

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD is required.
• 3–5 years of professional consulting experience after clinical training.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to translate clinical concepts.
• Experience using structured project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Asana) in a team setting.
• Comfort with structured healthcare data concepts (claims, EHR, coding systems).
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to develop data pipelines and processing workflows, incorporating AI/ML methods.

Responsibilities

• Support business development by translating clinical nuance into consulting deliverables.
• Lead codebook and data dictionary development across claims, EHR, and other real-world data sources.
• Contribute to white papers, blogs, and client-facing content on RWD/RWE trends.
• Represent the practice at industry events and monitor regulatory/scientific developments affecting clients.
