Job summary

Groundfloor is seeking a Remote Business Development Manager on the Originations Team to cover retail and broker originations for real estate loans. You will conduct sales calls, close loans from provided and self-generated leads, and serve as the main contact for customers through the loan process.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years in sales or finance, with a track record of meeting targets and traveling to industry events. BA/BS is preferred but not required; occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Sales executive experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Ability to position products against competitors.
• 2+ years in sales, real estate, lending or finance preferred.
• BA/BS degree preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

• Conducts sales calls to prospective customers and documents results in CRM.
• Be the main point of contact throughout the loan process for customers and Groundfloor.
• Close loans from provided leads and self-generated opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to hit or exceed sales targets.
• Travel to conferences, meetings, and industry events.
