Groundfloor is seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to join our Originations Team. This role focuses on Retail and Broker Originations, cultivating strong customer relationships and training clients on our products, processes, and services.

The successful candidate will travel occasionally, drive a strong pipeline, and support Groundfloor’s growth in a remote-friendly, fast-moving wealthtech environment.

Qualifications

• Sales experience with targets.
• Ability to position products against competitors.
• Understanding of financial narratives.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally.
• BA/BS degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Make sales calls to prospective customers, profile them, present Groundfloor value, and log results in the CRM.
• Serve as the main resource on Groundfloor products, policies, and underwriting.
• Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Be the primary contact during the loan process for customers and Groundfloor.
• Train customers on products and processes.
• Close loans from leads and self-generated sources.
• Develop and execute plans to hit/exceed sales targets.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and organize activities in the CRM.
• Engage with local industry groups to grow the network.
