Job summary

TriNet is seeking an energetic Sales Consultant to drive new business within a 5-99 employee segment, overseeing the full sales process from prospecting to closing. You will build and manage your own book of business, engage C-level executives, and present TriNet's comprehensive HR solution including benefits and payroll.

You will travel within your assigned territory, develop an annual plan, and leverage a multi-step sales process to exceed quotas while maintaining TriNet’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Typically 1+ years B2B complex sales cycle experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and hit targets in defined territory across multiple states/regions.
• Build a balanced pipeline through cold calling, email, phone, LinkedIn, and referrals.
• Qualify opportunities quickly using market understanding and decision-maker personas.
• Establish a trusted advisor relationship to gain client loyalty and long-term partnerships.
• Manage a multi-step sales process and coordinate with internal teams to close deals.
