Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a Portfolio Executive for the Midwest to lead a multi-project solar PV and energy storage portfolio, driving profitable growth and strong customer partnerships across self-perform and subcontracted delivery models.

The role supports Scottsdale or Midwest remote work, with up to 50% travel and relocation assistance. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• EPC project lifecycle experience from engineering through closeout.
• P&L responsibility for large portfolios or business units (>$100M).
• Leadership of Project Management teams and mentoring senior staff.
• Strong economics, contracts, and negotiations with customers and subcontractors.
• Technical construction acumen including constructability, sequencing, productivity, cost and schedule risk.
• Strategic thinking to transform business processes for efficiency and innovation.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a multi-project portfolio with P&L responsibility exceeding $100 million.
• Oversee multiple Project Managers delivering PV and BESS projects via self-perform and subcontracted models.
• Set portfolio construction strategy aligning delivery methods with cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
• Cultivate long-term customer partnerships and drive repeat business.
• Lead enterprise-scale transformation initiatives to improve project delivery performance and value.
• Sponsor process and technology adoption to set new industry benchmarks in cost and delivery.
• Mentor team members and develop talent to achieve high-impact performance.
• Empower field teams to make decisions and drive economic thinking at all levels.
