Job summary

bioMerieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across geographic territory including national travel. You will install, maintain, and repair instruments, build customer relationships, and support service revenue growth. Training occurs at Durham, NC or St.

Louis, MO during the first year, with occasional overnight travel and on-call rotations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work remotely

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of electro-mechanical/electronic systems.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair instruments to meet specifications.
• Build trust with customers and identify service opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
