Job summary

bioMerieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers in Georgia with nationwide support as needed. The role is field-based, requiring self-motivation, remote work, and willingness to travel overnight on short notice.

Responsibilities include installations, maintenance and repairs, driving service revenue through preventative maintenance, and training programs at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO within the first year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting and/or repairing electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Education Substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades and repairs to ensure instruments meet specifications.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities for cross-functional teams.
• Foster teamwork across service and support teams while driving field service revenue.
