Insurance Office of America in the United States is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business. The role combines client service, policy administration, billing, claims handling, and renewal submissions.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in account management within insurance, holds a P&C license (CIC preferred), and can lead a team while delivering excellent service. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing; CIC preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
